Your customers are buying from your competition
Even though your product or service is better.
I hate to be the one to tell you this, but…your competition is actively showing up on social media, and you're...not. 🤷🏼♀️
Your competition is engaging with their audience and getting to know them....you try sometimes, but ultimately you're not.
Their messaging is on point, and they know how to speak to their customers. You don't.
This also means your customers are buying from your competition, even though your product or service is better.
So, what can you do?
✔️ Make social media a consistent priority
Show up and talk to your client. Instead of telling them why they should care about your products or services, SHOW THEM with your content. This includes feed posts, reels, AND stories.
✔️ Engage and build your community
Embrace the “social” part of your social media! As you scroll through your feed, like posts and comment on them. Reply to stories that spark your interest. Reply to comments and DMs. Support your community, and they'll support you back!
✔️ Get down and dirty to develop your brand voice
Give your brand a personality on your socials. Keep it conversational, like you’re speaking to a friend. That’s what social media was originally for, right? Once you have your voice down pat, stick with it to build that brand persona.
When you aren’t showing up on social media, your audience KNOWS. 👀
This is why I don’t like 9 grids (where you only have 9 posts static feed posts with all of your main info that stays the same), which might make it look like you’re not active on social!
The last thing you want is for your customers to think you went out of business and use your competitor (who’s posting regularly and snagging your customers left and right!)
All this too much? 🫠 I don’t blame you, it’s A LOT. Shoot me a message and let’s work together to get your socials in check!
